Honestly, sometimes. I've found some sites actively fight scraping. I usually don't use a proxy unless I'm getting rate-limited or banned. It really depends on the target site's defenses.
Speaking of defenses, those animatronics in Five Nights At Freddy'sĀ could sure use some data collection to predict player movements, right?
